I grew up (as much as I did!), married and raised my kids in PA. But, about four years ago my son moved with his family…my grandkids….to VA. So I quit my job of 23 years and my hubby and I followed them. We need to watch those kids grow up – which they do too fast!  I took a job in Norfolk, but in January ’09 it went away (like millions of others). So I had a lot of time on my hands and thought it was a good opportunity to use up the materials I had on hand….scads of yarn, thread, material and beads. For 40 plus years everyone has told me I need to be in business for myself, so the time seemed right. With the encouragement of my family and friends and with the creative genius of my daughter’s friend Leslie (check her out under my Creative Partners), my dream of a lifetime has become Rebecca’s Rainbow!

It has been a very busy year with lots and lots of orders not generated by the website -so I have spent my time working with my fingers and not updating here.  I guess it’s a good dilemma….being too busy.  Now, I have lots of new things to put on the website – just need to stop creating long enough to do that!
